Supported Family Time (Supervised Contact)

Endeavour Children’s Services Supported Family Time program assists children and young people to enjoy a pleasant and safe visit with immediate, and extended family members.Our support team provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, resulting in a positive experience for all participants.

Our Supported Family Time program includes;

  • A tailored program to encourage positive family interaction and assists to develop and strengthen connections.
  • Visits in a variety of family friendly locations, such as venues within the community or our safe and supportive family centred contact locations.
  • Detailed and prompt reporting following family interactions.

Transport

Endeavour Children’s Services offer a supportive and reliable transport service for children, young people and families to local, regional or interstate locations.

All of our company vehicles have professionally installed child seats that accommodate ages as per safety legislation.

Our transport services include;

  • Transport to and from school
  • To and from respite and emergency locations
  • Transport to appointments, and/or court proceedings
  • Camps or family vacations
  • Interstate transport and travel bookings.

These services are available for children and young people of all ages, and levels of ability and functioning. Our transport services are available at short notice, or pre-booked – both inside and outside of business hours and during holidays.

Endeavour Children’s Services transport services can be linked with our Supported Family Time, Respite or Mentoring services.

Supported Family Time – ONLINE

As a response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, Endeavour Children’s Services (ECS) offers online Supported Family Time services.

Our support team are ready to host supported family time visits online utilizing Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, Microsoft Teams, and phone calls with or without video interface.

Our support team are available to host approved supported family time with family members using their own technology in their home. Where a family member does not have access to the required technology, we are able to provide technology and a safe and secure location to facilitate the online contact visit.

Mentoring

Our Mentoring program provides an opportunity for children and young people to spend time with a positive and supportive role model who will help them build skills and resilience through targeted activities.
Children and young people are matched with mentors who participate in activities of interest to the young person. Our mentors are trained in therapeutic care and evidence-based interventions and cognitive behaviour therapy programs.
Our aim is to equip children and young people to manage life’s challenges and difficult decisions by assisting them to learn important skills and achieve their potential.
